Theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawking, claimed the Higgs boson could not be discovered, but when he recovered from his pique at being apparently proven wrong, he took an extreme tack in a new direction. In the preface to his new collection of essays and lectures called “Starmus,” Hawking warned the particle could be responsible for the destruction of the known universe.
Which makes CERN’s vagaries concerning their attempt to open up a black hole (or worm hole) somewhat disturbing. The Higgs boson doomsday theory postulates a quantum fluctuation that could possibly, in some distant future, create an expanding “bubble” which might suck up the universe like a vacuum-cleaner. So, while we’re not suggesting Geneva will disappear into oblivion, and the rest of the planet with it, it would still be comforting to know that CERN’s scientists have a positive outcome in mind for their experiments.
CERN appears clueless as to what sort of rabbit they will pull out of the hat. At a press briefing in November 2009, Sergio Bertolucci, director for Research and Scientific Computing, made this esoteric and incredibly unscientific statement. “Out of this door might come something, or we might send something through it,” he said.
What door, and what can we expect to come out of it or through it? Just when did science cross-pollinate with the occult? Perhaps that history goes further back than we realise, but the use of Shiva, the goddess of destruction, as CERN’s emblem, has the effect of ratcheting up the sense of unease many are feeling.
As the Large Hadron Collider, LHC, ramps up the accelerator in preparation for the high speed collision attempt in the coming weeks, a You Tube video points out several fascinating, and some startling, facts.
- CERN was started in 1954, September 29th at the Jewish Feast of Trumpets.
- The intention is to cause a collision of protons at just below the speed of light, to replicate conditions of the primordial universe moments after the Big Bang, to discover that God-particle which holds matter together, and to isolate it.
CERN is located in the area that was once known as Apolliacum where, during Roman times, a temple was built dedicated to Apollyon, the Destroyer. The Bible has something to say about this very subject:
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit.
And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. Revelation 9:1-3,11
It begs the question, is CERN dealing with science or magic? Is this separation of the God-particle in fact an attempt to achieve what the prophecy in Revelation says, to create a portal into the Underworld to release spirits held there?
Does the Hadron Collider hold the key to opening this bottomless pit? Is this the elusive Holy Grail – and, in the isolating of the “God Particle”, the uniting of matter with dark forces?
It is interesting that if you key 9/23/2015 into Google Maps, you come up with this:
